... just entering the world of one-a-day painters after discovering this phenomenon while traveling around the 'net looking for good work to show my painting students - all work that can be done in a day. I stumbled across Craig Stephens and Duane Keiser last fall and a new door opened. My classes at the University of Maine involve many levels of study and this one-a-day practice has made a significant impact on me as well as my young painters. I have set a goal to do 100 paintings this summer, my only time away from the classroom and in the studio, with luck, every day. This blogsite will be the impetus to meet this objective - make me accountable.
